WHELH5 the Council has determined it desirable to
construct

a Sewage Treatment Plant at an estimated cost of Four Hundred and
Vifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000..00);
AND �4H,- iLaS it is the .intention' of Council to issue debentures
in 'the amount of Four' Hunred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($4509000000)
bearing interest at such rate as' Council may determine to be Y a able

in twenty (20) years;
iHEREA;; it, is provided` by Sect ion 3$$ (1) (66) of The
Municipal Act HoS.O, 1950, Chapter 2.43 and amendments thereto that the
Council.of every municipality may pass by -laws for establishin g, main
taining, egquiring ,and operating sewage works including sewers pumping ti ,;t.
plants, and treatment works and for regulating the operation.

authorized;
'2. That the Engineer of the Corporation of the Town of Bowrsanville
r shall forthwith make such plans, profiles and specifications furnish

such information as may be necessary for the making of a contract for ;
the execution of the work.
3 . b That the work shall be ' carried on and executed under the superm
vision and according to the direction and orders of the En sneer.

410 That the Mayor and the Clerk are authorised to cause a contract

for the construction of the work to be made and entered into with some
person or persons, firm or corporation, subject to the approval of the
.9puncil to be declared by a Resolution.
