BEING A BY LAW To AUTHORIZE ' THE CONVEYANCE
OF CERTAIN LANDS TO CARROLL - S LIMITED.
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville,
is the owner of certain lands in Lots ::33, 3 35, 122, 123, and 124,
in Block "P" according to Grant's plan of , the Town of Bowmanville,
and lying south of Church Street and between Temperance and Division
Streets in the said Town,
AND WHEREAS the'said lands, save the lands upon which
the' fire hall is now standing, are no longer required for municipal
purposes and .the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville is desirous
of selling, them to Carroll's Limited,
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to The -Municipal Act R.'S , 00

1950, Section 35 and amendments thereto the Council -of of the
Corporation: of the .Town of Bowmanville enacts as follows
a
} , 1. The Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville shall sell to '
. ' Carroll' s Limited for. the price of $6,500.00 the lands and premises
situate in Lots 33, 34, 35, 122, 123, and 124 in Block "P" according to

Grant's Plan of the . Town of Bowmanville, lying south of Church Street

and between Temperance and Division Streets in the Town of Bowmanville,
being more particularly described in conveyances of the Town regi stered
'
as . instruments No. ' d 7041, 5059, 1771, r 1773, 1774, 1775, 1791, 1932,, 1933,
and 1935,' save that a right -of -way on foot only shall be sold over the
'laneway leading from the said lands southerly to King Street. . r
2. The conveyance of the said lands shall be subject to the
vaidaus rights-of-way and easements in favour of adjoining ]and owners
and shall contain a restrictive covenant which shall run with the land
that the said lands shall be used for no other purpose than that of a
parking lot for the daily shopping public, provided however that
Carroll 's Limited shall have the right to restrict parking to intervals
of one hour and in so doing shall be deemed not to have breached.the
