A 'by -law to„ provide for the application by the
Municipal Council of the `orporat ion of ' the Town
of Bowmanville 'to The Municipal Board for an order
annexing a certain part of the Township of
Darlington to the Town of Bowmanville.
WHEREAS it has become necessary for the Town of Bowmanville
in or de to locate a certain industry within the limits of the
Municipality to annex a certain part of the adjoining Township of
,
Darlington.

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of. the -Corporat ion of
the Town' of Bowmanville pursuant to the provisions of The Municipal
Act x.8.0. 1950 Chapter 243 Section 20 do hereby enacts as follows
,
1. The Corporation apply to the-Municipal Board For an
order allowing the Corporation to annex all that part of the Township • '
of Darlington in the County of Durham comprising Lot No. 8 in the
Broken Front Concession of the said Township extending from the southern
limit of the said Broken Front Concession road to the- watert s edge
of Lake Ontario. and including Lots 1 to 24 inclusive s"crescent Avenue
all lanes, -gravel beach and other lands shown on a plan made by
W. E. Yamold, O.L.S. for, Alice Mallory and registered in the Re-

all title and interest of the Township of Darlington in the allowance
for the Concession Road lying irnniediately north of said Lot No. $
for its entire width and in the unopened, allowance for a road known
as Mearns Avenue lying -immediately west of said Lot No. $ for its
entire length,
2. The Corporation furnish all necessary plans and other
materials required by the Municipal Board upon the said application
and to make such expenditure in that behalf as may be necessary.
3. By -Lair No. 1628 is hereby repealed.
This by -law read a first, second and third time and finally
