THAT Report CLD-20-05 be received; 2. THAT the by-laws attached to Report CLD-20-05 to appoint parking enforcement officers for private property be forwarded to Council for approval; 3, THAT By-law 2003-191 be amended by deleting the names Craig Bennett, Steve Plue, and Jason Kilburn; and 4. THAT Denise Franklin, Doug Pitcher, Richard Bell, Nikolaos Koitsopoulos, Tony Murray, Keith Pearson be advised of Council's actions. Group 4 Falck (Canada) Limited has approached the Municipality and requested that officers be authorized to issue parking tickets on the property at 2800 Courtice Road, Courtice. The officers Group 4 Falck (Canada) Limited is proposing for the 2800 Courtice Road, Courtice is Denise Franklin, Doug Pitcher, Richard Bell, Nikolaos Koitsopoulos, Tony Murray, and Keith Pearson. In addition to the appointment of the new officers, Group 4 Flack (Canada) Limited has advised that five people who were previously appointed, are no longer employed by the Company. It will therefore be necessary to repeal their appointment by-laws, In order for the officers to be able to perform these duties they must be appointed pursuant to the Police Services Act as a Parking Enforcement Officers, Group 4 Falck (Canada) Limited is aware that, once appointed, the officers must attend at the Municipal Administrative Centre for training prior to commencing any enforcement duties. Dennis Franklin is hereby appointed as a Parking Enforcement Officer for the sole purpose of enforcing the Traffic By-law of the Municipality of Clarington on the property located at 2800 Courtice Road, Courtice, in the Municipality of Clarington. 2. THAT By-Law 2003-191 be amended by deleting the names Craig Bennett, Steven Plue and Jason Kilburn in Section 1. 2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effective immediately on the day of final passing by Council. BY-LAW read a first time this 16th day of May 2005.
