Finances
• We have a good bank balance going into the winter season. Joanne discussed the
Hydro One security deposit we pay due to bills not paid in the past when the board
was in financial hardship
Joanne will prepare a forecast of revenue/expenses for January meeting for 2013 to
give the board an idea how we are doing.
Bar Report: Nothing to report
Bookings: We have a good booking rate going into 2013(approx 12
bookings - 1 per month) at approx 300.00 per booking.
Maintenance Report - The dishwasher auto soap dispenser is being
installed(to meet Health regulations) and will cost $250.00. Health board will
also check temperature requirements for the dishwasher.
Municipality of Clarington Report: to discuss with the municipality
1. Mark will attend the hall board meeting in Nov and report in January
any updates
2. Insulation of doors/windows to conserve heat
a. Energy Audits
3. New sign for front of TCC to help it stand out in Tyrone(Corinna will
look into bylaws , costs etc) but TCC will probably have to pay for it.
Dave Taylor would be willing to have another sign on his property near
the mill.
4. Corinna checking on snow removal and if they can plow under their
contract
Dance/Upcoming Events
Dave and Maggie will take over leading the monthly dances and will provided a
$150.00 float to cover food, supplies etc. A new DJ will be introduced to freshen up
the dance. Some other organizations are starting up Dances.
Breakfast with Santa is planned for Dec 151h. NO charge with a perishable food item
for the food bank.
The COAA and TCC will hold an event on Dec 2"d with the County Town Singers at
2pm.
