Schoenmaker, Member Mrs. Ellen P.?. Yeo, Secretary -Treasurer It was moved by K. Schoenmaker, seconded by E.R. Lovekin; !WHEREAS Section 32a, (9) of The Planning Act R.S.O. 196o and amendments thereto authorises this Committee of Adjustment to appoint a Secretary -Treasurer for carrying into effect the provisions of this Act; and WHEREAS this Committee of Adjustment deems it desirable to appoint as an officer thereof a Secretary -Treasurer; Therefore the Committee of Adjustment for the Township of Clarke enacts as follows: 1. That Mrs. Ellen D.R. Yeo be and is hereby appointed Secretary -Treasurer of the Committee of Adjustment for the Township of Clarke as of February 6, 1967. 2. That the said Mrs. Ellen M. Yeo shall be paid the sum of $2.00 per hour as Secretary -Treasurer together with any and all other benefits established for the employees of the Township of Clarke. 3. The Secretary -Treasurer shall be the Administrative Officer of the Committee of Adjustment and responsible only to the said Committee; and to the Chief Administrative Officer, -if and when establi shed by by-law of The Cor_ooration of the Township of Clarke. 4. The Secretary -Treasurer shall be supervised by the Clerk - Treasurer in the administration of the duties of such office in so far as they relate to the general administration of this Municipality. 5. The Secretary -Treasurer -shall be supplied with the necessary accommodation, equipment and supplies for the Derformance of the duties of the said office at, and forming a part of, the general administrative offices of the said Corporation. 6. This appointment, including all the arrangements herein, -shall be subject to the approval of the Council of the Cornoration of the Township of Clarke. This motion was duly carried. A meeting was called for a preliminary review of applications #43 to #56 inclusive, and to check form of application and to acquaint the Committee with the problems therein. Page 2 Meeting of Committee of Adjustment, February 23, 1967: Mr. H.E. Millson, Clerk of the Township of Clarke was asked to attend the meeting by the Committee in order to clarify questions concerning road allowances, frontages and problems associated with Township Administration. It was moved by K. Schoenmaker and seconded by E.R. Lovekin, in accordance with the Provisions of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 296 and amendments thereto Ref. Sec. 32(a) (Sub. 9) that the Secretary -Treasurer correspond with the Council of the Township of Clarke requisitioning an appropriation in the amount of $2,325.00 to budget for anticipated expenses for the year 1867 for employees and consultants. carried. It was moved by K. Schoenmaker and seconded by E.R. Lovekin that two subscriptions be sent to The Municipal World for 1967 in the amount of 110.00. carried. Low, Secretary, Clarke Planning Board Minutes of meeting of the Committee held December 21, 1966 were approved as read on motion by K. Schoenmaker, seconded by E.R. Lovekin, carried. A letter under date of February 27, 1967, was received from the Clerk of this municipality together with attached certified copy of Resolution No. 56 dated February 22, 1967 which was considered and filed. It was moved by Mr. Schoenmaker and seconded by Mr. Lovekin that the Rules of Procedure be revised to change the fee for residential applications from $10.00 to $15.00, subject to the approval of the Minister of Municipal Affairs. carried. Application File No. 43-66 W. V, in the Police Village of Orono, of the Township of Clarke, - Submission No. " 3 ' u3- 66- 6Z Application was made for exemption or partial exemption from provisions of Subdivision Control By -Law No. 1306 so as to permit the separation of a parcel of land approximately 501 x 501 being approximately.057 acres from the applicant*s land. The Secretary reported that 31 notices of the said hearing had been -mailed in accordance with Item 4 of The Rules of Procedure.
