A- By -Lair of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of
,Sowmanville to raise by taxation certain sun s� of money for Town, County
DabentuTe and School purposes in the Town of Bowmanville for the year, 19471,
'AREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Bowmanville hereby enact s ; -
First;
That the several sums of money hereinafter mentioned be. levied
4 equ&lly upon the whole rateable property of the said Town of
Bowmanville as appears by the Assessmentv, Roll for the year, 1947.
Second;-
That the sum of $ 539968.86 be levied,, -being a rate of 19.8 mills
� on the dollar, required as ordinary Town Rate as shown in estimates
hereto attached .
Third; That the sum of 22, 623.31 be levied being a rate of 8.3 mills
on the dollar, required for Public School expenditures as appears
by their requisition before . Council.
Fourth; =
That the sum of 10,357.66 be levied being,a rate of 3.g mills
on the dollar, required for High School expenditures as shown:; by
their requisition before Council
Fifth;
That the sum of 40 633 *69 be levied being a rate of 1.7 Mills,
on the dollar, required to , meet , certain sewerage ' and Local

Sixth;
That the sum of 209170.18 be levied being a rate of 7.4' mills
on the dollar, rwquired to meet the County Rate for 194 7.
Seventh; —w
That the several amounts shall be ,paid into the office of the
Tax Cilleator in four equal installments on Apr_ it 16th". June 18th;
September 10th and November 19th, next,
ighth; -
Should any of the installments be not paid on or before, due date
: penalties will be added at the rate of per month orfraction
thereof until December 31st -next. when 4 % is :added to all 1947
taxes remaining unpaid.
To all unpaid taxe a after 1mcember 31 st , - riet , a statuary penalty
of % per calen4aik month or fraction thereof will be added until
taxes are paid.
Should he second installment be ,paid with the first installment
..'a discount of J,%,zhall be allowed off the second installment.

Should the fourth installment be paid with the first installment
a di scount of 21 % shall be allowed off the fourth installment .

That the several suns be levied, collected and paid over to -the
credit of the Town of Bowmanville pursuant to the Statutes and.,
