A By -Law of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville to provide for
carrying on a community programme of training in physical fitness and
recreation,
WHEREAS The Municipal Act R .5.O,. 1937, Chapter 266, Section 404, 2a,
authorizes the Councils of Towns to pass By -Laws for carrying on a
community programme of trainin in physical fitness with n thh

meaning of the regulations under The Department of .6ducation Act
AND AREAS it is deemed expedient to pass such a By -Law,
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Bowmanville-enacts as follows;
1. The Local Committee for the furtherance of a programme of training

in physical fitness and recreation of
f p y persons in the Town of
Bowmanville within the meaning of the regulations under The
Department of .6ducation Act shall be known as The Community Council
and ' shall. be composed of one member from each of the following
:4
bodies or organizations, to be appointed annually by the said bodies,
or 'organizations; The Municipal Council of ' the Town of Bowmanville
J The Board of Education of the Town of Bowmanville'
The Bovmanville Lions' Club
The ,Bowmanville Rotary Club' „
- The Bovmanville Ministerial Council
The Bowmanvi 116 Chamber of Commerce

5. With the exception 'of the office of President and the Composition,,
powers and duties of a executive committee , The Bowmanville
Community Council may resolut -i-on provide for;

filling of the same by election ors appointment,
b The holding of meetings

been given to all members of the said Community Council. or exeout�e
