Minutes of a meeting of the Newcastle Community Hall Board
held on February 16 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers.

MINUTES
1.1 Motion by C. Abraham, seconded by S. DeJong
That the minutes of November 2009 and January 2010 be accepted as
circulated. "Carried"
BUSINESS ARISING
2.1 Industrial electric stove for small kitchen will cost approximately $4500.00.
Secretary to get pricing on residential stainless steel at Paddy's Market and Sears.
2.2 P. DeJong reported stage curtains have been hemmed— cost was $50.00
FINANCIAL REPORT
3.1 Motion by C. Abraham, seconded by G. Robinson
That the financial report be accepted as presented. "Carried"
BILLS
4.1 Motion by G. Robinson, seconded by C. Abraham
That bills for supervision in the amount of$200.00 be paid as presented.

6.1 Need occupancy permit for second floor
6.2 Copy of inspection report will be sent to Operations Dept.
NEW BUSINESS
7.1 C. Trim recommended 2 spruce trees on west corner should be taken down. It
was noted that this is in the plan with the new gardens.
7.2 2 Hr parking sign should be removed.
7.3 Check into sharing cost of putting lights on Christmas tree with BIA/Chamber of
Commerce.
7.4 New screen worked well at CBOT event.
7.5 Speak with Operations Dept about putting board over crack in auditorium ceiling
until leak is fixed.
7.6 Small kitchen sump pump has been fixed.
7.7 Lions will be hosting fundraiser at Class Act Dinner Theatre in March.
