The subject letter expressed concern over the possibility
of a Town Centre being located at Waverly Road and the Baseline
and asked what could be done to prevent the area from being
rezoned to permit this use.
It is recommended that Mr. Nixon be advised that area res-
idents would have two opportunities to object to this proposal.
The proposed Official Plan amendment will be considered by the
Planning Advisory Committee and then by Council when the current
Commercial Needs Study is completed.
Any objections will be welcome to come to any of these
meetings to voice their objections and Mr. Nixon will be listed
as a party interested in this application.
