A By-Law to appoint a Building Inspector, Trench Inspector, Weed
Inspector and Construction Safety Inspector and to rescind By-Law
No, 1878,
WHEREAS: The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bow -
manville deems it expedient to appoint a Building
Inspector$ Trench Inspector, Weed Inspector and
Construction Safety Inspector for the Corporation
to enforce the provisions of relevant Town By -Laws
and Provincial Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION of the Town of Bow -
manville enacts as follows:
10 That Mr. Ronald Hetherington be appointed as Build-
ing Inspector, Trench Inspector, Weed Inspector and
Construction safety Inspector for the Town of Bow• -
manville at an annual Salary of $4000.00.
2, That Mr. Hetherington shall be paid $25.00 per month
car allowance.
3, That Mr. Hetherington's duties shall be as follows:
(a) Building Inspector (enforcement of Building
and Zoning By -Laws of the Corporation.)
(b) Trench Inspector - Responsibilities imposed
under the Trench Excavators' Protection Act# R.S.O.,
1960, Chapter 407.
(c) Weed Inspector - Responsibilities imposed under
the Weed Control Act R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 427.
(d) Construction Safety Inspector - Responsibilities
im osed under the Construction Safety Act, R.S.O.
1991 -62 Chapter 1$.- subject to approval by the
Department of Labour.
(e) To perform such other duties as may be assigned
to him by Council.
4, That By-Law No. 1$7$, and any other By -Law incon-
sistant with the terms of this by-law be and are
