REZONING APPLICATION FOR NIES ZONDERVAN-
On September 23, 1974, the Planning Advisory Committee passed.
the following resolution with respect to Mr. Zondervan's property in
Lot 35, Conc. 3, Clarke.
That this Committee approved of Air. Zondervan's application
and recommended to Council that the subject lands be rezoned
to an R.R. category provided that the applicant enters into
a site plan agreement with the Town, and with the understanding
that no further severances will be granted in respect of the
subject property.
The site plan to show the location of all existing buildings
and of all buildings proposed to be erected on each of the two
lots that would be created if the application for severance
received final approval.
Municipal Planning Consultants have now produced an implementing
by-law, which will be submitted at the meeting. I believe that this
by-law has been worded to obviate any necessity for a site plan agree-
ment in this case and to prevent the granting of further severances on
the subject property.
I would, therefore, recommend that the by-law be approved and that
the previous requirement for a site plan agreement be rescinded.
