LOCAL IMPROVEMENT WORKS
ASPHALTIC CONCRETE SIDEWALK
REPORT OF THE' ENGINE74,R OF THE CORPORATION, pursuant to section 40
of The Local Improvement Act, respecting the construction of an
asphaltic concrete sidewalk on the street named in Schedule "a"
hereto annexed.
I, :J. T. Dempsey, Un ine r for the Corporation of the Town of
Lo'vz.anville, having considered the matters herein after mentioned
respecting the construction of an asphaltic concrete sidewalk as
above set out as a local improvement under the provisions of The
Local Improvement Act R.S.O. 1960 Chapter 2L3, and amendments
thereto,
DO HER1,BY REPORT To the Council of the `town of Bowmanville, pursuant
to section 40 of the said Act as follows:
1. The estimated lifetime of the work is twenty (20) years.
2. The estimated cost of the work is $2,255.00.
3. The Corporationts share of the aforesaid cost of the work
should be :'60.48
4. The lands abutting directly upon the said sidewalk and on the
same side of Ontario Street as the said side.�alk should be
specially as •esUad with an annual rate of 48.2 per foot
frontage for a period of ten (10) years.
5. The special assessra_ant to be imposed on Lot 6, Eloek 23 should
be reduced by an amount equivalent to the reduction of its
frontage abutting on the work by 37.0 feet but the whole lot
should remain liable to the special assessment as so reduced.
6. As „et out above, the special assessments are to be payable
