A By -law to appoint one member to the Bowmanville
Library Board and two members to the Bowmanville
Museum Board.
Whereas: The resignation of Mr. R. H. Hamlyn necessitates the
the appointment of a successor to complete the term of office
for which he was appointed to serve as a member of the Bowman -
ville Library Board;
And Whereas: The resignation of Mr. W. B. Syer necessitates the
appointment of a successor to complete the term of office for
which he was appointed to serve as a member of the Bowmanville
Museum Board;
And Whereas: An additional member is required to be appointed
to the Bowmanville Museum Board.
And Whereas: The Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Bowmanville deems it expedient to fill the said vacancies.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
BOVJMMANVILLE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Mr. R. G. Gropp be and is hereby appointed a member
of the Bowmanville Library Board for the balance of the
year 1965.
2, That Mr. Forest Dilling and Robert Gilbert be and are
hereby appointed members of the Bowmanville Museum Board
for the balance of the year 1965.
READ a First and Second time this 18th day of January 1965.
READ a Third Time and finally passed this 18th day of January
1965.
