Re: Allocation of Costs - Newcastle Fire Hall
The question of how to divide the cost of Water, Hydro, Sewer and Heat
has been raised by the Fire Chief.
The square footage is as follows:
Apartment 25' x 40' = 1,000
sq.
feet
18.18%
Fire Hall 75' x 60' = 4,500
sq.
feet
81.82%
5,500
sq.
feet
100.00%
It is the recommendation of Mr. Hayman and I that this be the basis for the
allocation of costs since the total costs should not be borne by the Fire
Department since the rental of the apartment is not credited directly to
the Fire Department.
