SUBJECT: Boundary Agreement - City of Oshawa and Town of Newcastle
Townline Road
DATE: October 28, 1976
Attached is a copy of a proposed update to the subject
agreement.
Early this year the Region assumed part of this boundary,
as a result, there is a need for an update.
This agreement is similar to the existing one with the
exception of that part assumed by the Region.
I would recommend we concur with the exception of the
following:
On page two where it states "but the City may do such
work as ditching, culvert replacement, scarifying, priming,
gravel patching, snow plowing, sanding, salting" --add snow
fencing --"and other normal maintenance and repair operations,"
--and add at its expense.
Further to this, on page three again the similar addition.
