SUBJECT: Road Allowance Concessions 5 and 6, Lot 3 (Clarke
Township)
At the March Public Works Committee meeting
the above mentioned subject was referred to
staff for review.
Works Committee on December 18, 1975, agreed
to close the allowance for road being in Conc-
essions 5 and 61 Lot 2, which is immediately east
of the said subject. The portion now referred to
is immediately west of what is now to be closed
in lieu of acquiring a 66 foot right-of-way across
what is now a forced road.
I would recommend that the request to close
the said subject be approved subject to:
(1) retaining a small portion of the road all-
owance at the intersection due to an align-
ment situation as marked on the attached
drawing;
(2) that a 66 foot allowance for road be ac-
quired across what is now a forced road at
no cost to the Town;
(3) that the above allowance for road, as men-
tioned in item;22, be improved to a stand-
ard approved by the Town at no cost to the
Town.
The above conditions should also be subject
to being a parcel of land sufficient in size to
obtain a building permit for a residential dwell-
ing.
