SUBJECT: Design Criteria, Mill Street Bridge Newcastle
Village
Attached is a letter from M.T.C. in regards
to the above mentioned subject. Their comments
are self explanatory to the effect that the
mentioned subject is not deficient structurally.
Due to these facts, I would recommend that
the necessary changes be made to the 1976 prog-
ram and that preliminary engineering be carried
out on the Concession Street Bridge which as per
the Needs Study is deficient and has a high pri-
ority rating.
The A.A.D.T. in May 1975 immediately east of
Liberty Street on Concession Street was 12759.

Dear Sir:
We enclose Design Criteria sheets submitted on March 1,
1976.
As the existing bridge is structurally sound and consider-
ing the present traffic it does not merit reconstruction
at this time.
