SUBJECT: Garbage Disposal Cans on King Street
DATE: June 30, 1976
Attached is correspondence received from Mrs. Fairey,
Secretary -Treasurer of the Bowmanville Chamber of
Commerce, in regards to the above subject.
It is my understanding that the said subjects were
donated to the Town of Bowmanville some time ago.
Apparently, the concern of the Chamber of Commerce
is to see what could be done to correct or eliminate
this unsightly condition. To eliminate would mean
remove all existing; to correct would mean replace
with a more modern type of disposal can.
Approximately ten (10) disposal cans would be
required when considering replacement at an
estimated cost of $75.00 each, being a total
estimated cost of $750.00 plus sales tax.
