THE CORPORATION OF , 'THE T O NN OF BOWMANV I LLE
A By- Lava. to provide for the holding of a vote, of the ratepayers entitled
to vote on a money By -Law and being By -law No 1539 which � has received
its first and second reading and provides for the borrowing of
$ 25 , 000.00 upon debentures to complete the co 9t f the installat ion of
artificial ice in the Memorial Arena in the Town of Bowmanville.

WHEREAS for the purpose of completing the cost of the inst$llation .
of artificial ice in the Memorial Arena it is necessary to borrow the sun
of 2 5 , 000.00
AND ;WHEREAS this Council has given f irst and second readings to
By -Law No 1539 providing'.for the issuance of debentures in the principal
amount of $ 25,000,.00 to be retired in equal annual instalments over a
period of ten years together with interest thereon at the rate of 5 per
, oent per annum to , provide funds for the said purpose
THMEFORE the Municipal Council of 'the Town of Bowmanvilhe enacts
as follows;

money By -Lawn shall be held on the 10th dajr of September, 1952
.20 The , vote shall ,be held at the polling booths situated as hereinafter
set out and the poll shall be opened at the hour of Nine o• c Lock -
in the forenoon and closed at the hour of Six o'clock in the
afternoon.

West Ward Polling Booth, at Council, Room, Torn Hall
North Ward Polling Booth at residence of Mr C.J. Hall -

South Ward Polling, Booth at Ontario Street School:
50 A.J.Lyle shall be the returning officer in charge of the Bald
vote and the following persons sbal1 be the deputy returning officers and poll clerks for the respective polling sub -di rlsione
and the said returning officer shall be entitles to a ppotnt
other persons to act in either capacity where necessary.

An his office at the Town Hall at the hour of 10.00 A.I. sum up
the number of .votes given for and against the proposed By -Law
and report the result of same, to this Council at its first meeting.
$. The said returning officer will provide an authorization signed by
'him for not more than two persons for each voting place to attend
at such place during the voting and counting of the b&1 lots both
on behalf of persons in favor of and opposing the said By -Law.
The said authorization to be furnished by the said returning
officer at his office in ' the Town Hall during office hours on
