REPORT TO THE HYDRO LIAISON COMMITTEE MEETING HELD JULY 7 1983
ADMIN. 39 - 83
SUBJECT: Supplementary Agreement #8
Heat Utilization Promotional Brochure
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That Committee now authorize the draw of funds as provided
for under Supplementary Agreement #8 for the purposes
of providing promotional material in respect of the Town
of Newcastle.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
As members of Council are aware, Supplementary Agreement #8 in respect
of Heat Utilization was recently amended to include an amount of
$15,000.00 to provide for the production of promotional material
about the Town of Newcastle and its potential for economic development.
During the operations of the Newcastle Tourist and Development Project
this summer, project staff were requested to prepare draft versions
of the promotional material, contemplated by Supplementary Agreement #8
for submission to the Hydro Liaison Committee and possible financing.
If the promotional material (to be presented) is felt appropriate, then
project staff would proceed to arrange for publishing.
Respectfully submitted,
