That this report be received; and 2. That Committee consider the draft brief to the Eastern Ontario a�ucus Meeting of January 14 1983. BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: On December 20 1982, Council considered the attached correspondence from Mr. S. Cureatz, M.P.P. for Durham East and directed the C.A.O. to prepare a "brief" for presentation to the January 14 1983 meeting of the Eastern Ontario Caucus requesting a change to the boundaries of the Eastern Ontario Development Area and in any other matters of concern to the municipality. L1C 3A6 Dear Members of Town Council: An Availability Day for the Eastern Ontario Caucus has been scheduled for January 14, 1983 in Peterborough. Specific time and place is yet to be announced. If there is a presentation that you would wish to make, YOU could possibly start thinking about it so that you will be prepared. The day will consist of presentations from groups from the provincial ridings in this area. The presentations will be scheduled for 1 hour each.
