BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: At the General Purpose and Administration Committee meeting of December 13 1982, the attached report in. respect of the Recreation Needs Study (Culture and Recreation Master Plan) was considered. The Recreation Needs Study contains a series of recommendations in respect of the provision of Cultural and Recreational facilities in the Town and speaks to the funding of new facilities. In view of the findings of the Study, Town staff believe that a Supplementary Agreement (Number 9) should now be agreed to "in principle" and finalized as soon as possible in respect of cultural and recreational services in the Town, using the "Needs Study" as input for the Agreement. ..2 -2- ADMIN. 82 - 88 It was noted at the last Hydro Liaison meeting that some preliminary discussions had taken place and that depending on the findings of the "Needs Study" that a further Supplementary Agreement might be appropriate.
