NO. 82 - 44 SUBJECT: SALE OF LOTS 32, 33 REGISTERED PLAN M749 RILLS OF LIBERTY NORTH RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. That this report be received for information, BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: U 7 (C) TELEPHONE 623-3379 Sometime ago, Council authorized the sale of Lots 32 and 33 in the Rills of Liberty North Subdivision Plan on a multiple listing service through Family Trust Real Estate.. The realtor has suggested that the Town might wish to hold mortgages on the lots to enhance the marketability of the property. Staff have investigated the possibility of the Town holding the mortgages and while it is not prohibited under the Municipal Act it is not recommended by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Accordingly, staff have proceeded to list the lots as authorized by Council. For the information of Committee, Lots 32 and 33 were accepted a parkland dedication by the Town through the execution of the Rills of Liberty North Subdivision agreement by Council.
