REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE
MEETING OF JUNE 14, 1982

SUBJECT: SCHEDULE OF COMMITTEE AND COUNCIL MEETINGS
BALANCE OF 1982 COUNCIL TERM
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That Committee forward the attached revised
schedule of meetings to Council for approval.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
As in previous years, Town Council has not convened meetings in August to
co-incide with the cancelling of meetings by Regional Council. It is
suggested that Council continue this practice this year and approve the
attached revised meeting schedule.
In order to avoid the necessity of calling Council together on an ad-hoc
basis, i.e; at the call of the chair, it is further suggested that suitable
advertisements be placed in local newspapers advising the public of the
change in Council's schedule.
