RE: Office Space Town Hall and the Bell Building
RECOMMENDATION:
1. That this report be received for information.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
As Members of Council are aware, certain minor
renovations to the Mayor's Office have been authorized
and are now in progress. At the same time, minor renovations
will be made to the Boardroom in the Bell Building to
allow for the use of existing unused rooms, as office space
for the Administrator. The changes to the Mayor's Office
and the Bell Building will allow for the use of the
formerly designated Town Manager's Office as a
Conference Room for the Mayor and Council. The Bell
Building Boardroom will be somewhat reduced in size and will
be continued to be used for staff meetings.
Staff from the Community Services Department
will be undertaking the work, and expenditures are
accommodated within the 1981 Budget for the Town Manager's
Office and for the use of 40 Temperance Street.
Work is expected to be completed during the
week of August 10th, 1981.
