Motion: Approval of minutes from June 11, 2020 meeting (no meeting in July or August and September meeting was
cancelled due to lack of quorum) Motion: Karen. Second: Frank

New Business
1. Website — Sandy Y. ran took us through the website. The goal is to have the site ready for review Oct. 15 —that
giving us 10 days to review — goes live Nov. 1. Notes and suggestions were made. Sandy still working on getting
information. Once site goes live changes can be made — revisions are to be sent directly to Brian Rutherford.
2. Financial Update
September CIBC balance — $25,556.99
3. Orono Horticultural Society — moving Bryan Bickell sign, 1001" Anniversary gardens, Mill Street exit/cemetary
4. MPP David Piccini's suggestion Orono Street Festival — not possible at this time (COVID) or the foreseeable future.
5. Benches — we rec'd $10,000 from Capstone — thank you Karen for applying. We have 4 benches coming, will request
approval for more in 2021 to replace other side of the street.
New Business
1. Need to talk to Orono Economic Development Strategy Group —update them on what we are doing, touch base,
chair position still vacant.
2. Ask Peter Vogel — Orono CIP rep to attend a meeting to update us.
