BY-LAW 99-174
BEING a By-Law of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington to appoint a
Tax Collector
And to Repeal By-law 99-25
THE MUNICIPAL Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington hereby,
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Maureen E. Wiles-Frost is hereby appointed Tax Collector to the Municipality
of Clarington during the pleasure of Council;
2. THAT Maureen E. Wiles-Frost be paid for her services such sum annually in
accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto.
3. THAT By-Law 99-25 is hereby repealed.
By-Law read a first and second time this 22nd day of November, 1999.
By-Law read a third and final time this 22nd day of November, 1999.

SCHEDULE "A"
TERMS &CONDITIONS OF THE APPOINTMENT OF MAUREEN E. WILES-FROST
The following shall be the terms and conditions of the employment of Maureen E. Wiles-
Frost as Tax Collector for the Municipality of Clarington, namely:
1. Effective December 13, 1999, Maureen W. Wiles-Frost shall commence
employment with the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington as Tax
Collector.
2. The duties and responsibility of the Tax Collector are those established by By-
Law No. 81-147 as may be amended from time to time.
3. Maureen E. Wiles-Frost shall be remunerated in accordance with the
Municipality's policy in respect to the compensation for non-affiliated staff and
more specifically shall be paid at a salary level 7 of the grid for non affiliated
employees.
4. Maureen E. Wiles-Frost shall be immediately entitled to employee health and
dental benefits enjoyed by all other non-affiliated staff as may be determined
from time to time.
