THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 99-25
BEING a By-Law of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington to appoint a
Tax Collector/Revenue Supervisor.
THE MUNICIPAL Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington hereby,
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Dana Howes is hereby appointed Tax Collector/Revenue Supervisor to the
Municipality of Clarington during the pleasure of Council;
2. THAT Dana Howes shall be paid for his services such sum annually in accordance
with the terms and conditions as set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto.
3. THAT By-Law 89-155 is hereby repealed.
By-Law read a first and second time this 22nd day of February, 1999.
By-Law read a third and final time this 22nd day of February, 1999.

SCHEDULE "A"
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE APPOINTMENT OF DANA HOWES
The following shall be the terms and conditions of the employment of Dana Howes as
Tax Collector/Revenue Supervisor for the Municipality of Clarington, namely:
1. Effective March 1, 1999, Dana Howes shall commence employment with the
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington as Tax Collector/Revenue
Supervisor.
2. The duties and responsibility of the Tax Collector/Revenue Supervisor are those
established by By-Law No. 81-147 as may be amended from time to time.
3. Dana Howes shall be remunerated in accordance with the Municipality's policy in
respect to the compensation for non-affiliated staff and more specifically shall be
paid at a salary level 7 of the grid for non affiliated employees.
4. Dana Howes shall be immediately entitled to all employee benefits enjoyed by all
other non-affiliated staff as may be determined from time to time.
