BY-LAW NUMBER 99-49
being a By-law to amend the Comprehensive Zoning By-law 84-63 for the
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington and to Repeal By-law 99-2.
WHEREAS, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington deems it
advisable to amend the Comprehensive Zoning By-law 84-63, as amended, of the
Corporation of the former Town of Newcastle, in accordance with application DEV 89-078
to permit the expansion of the existing church onto southerly abutting lands.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
1. Schedule "4" to By-law 84-63, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing
the zone designation from:
"Agricultural (A) Zone" to "Holding — Urban Residential Type One ((H) R1) Zone"
as shown on the attached Schedule "A" hereto.
2. Schedule "A" attached hereto shall form part of this By-law.
3. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the passing hereof, subject to the
provision of Section 34 of the Planning Act.
4. By-law 99-2 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first time this 12th day of April 1999.
By-law read a second time this 12th day of April 1999.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 12th day of April 1999.
