SU$.1ECT• Approval of Tile Drainage Loan Applications

RECORIMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration
Committee recommend to Council, the following:
1. That Report CD-49-87 be received; and
2. That the Tile Drainage Loan Application: submitted by Terry Price
n~!the amount of $5,200.00 be approved; and
3. That the Tile Drainage Loan Application submitted by Steve Carruthers
in the amount of $2,600.00 be approved; and
4. That the attached by-law be fowarded to Council for approval; and
5. That the by-law and necessary support documents be fowarded to the
Regional Municipality of Durham for processing; and
6. That the applicants be advised that their loans have been approved.

Mr. Terry Price filed an application for a Tile Drainage Loan in the amount of
$6,000.00 on March 23, 1987. The Works were completed by May 16, 1987 and subsequently,
paid invoices totalling $8,744.85 were submitted for the Works Department's review.
The Drainage Inspector inspected the Works on June 5, 1987 and filed an Inspection and
Completion Certificate with the Clerk's Office on July 28, 1987 in the amount of $5200.00
Mr. Steve Carruthers filed an application for a Tile Drainage Loan in the amount of
$3,000.00 on May 1, 1987. The Works were completed by April 28, 1987 and subsequently,
paid invoices totalling $4,255.65 were submitted for the Works Department's review. The
Drainage Inspector inspected the works on May 12, 1987 and filed an Inspection and
Completion Certificate with the Clerk's Office on July 24, 1987 in the amount of $2600.00.

It is therefore recommended that the General Purpose and Ac~ninistration
Committee approve the loan applications totalling $7,800.00 and recommend to
Council that the necessary By-law be enacted and authorize the Clerk to make
application to the Region of Durham for debenturing.
