REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF
JANUARY 21, 1985.

SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF TILE DRAINAGE LOAN
RECOMMENDATIONS:
• It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration
Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That the Tile Drainage Loan Application submitted by Mr. & Mrs. Hendrik
Van Dorp, R. R. #1, Enniskillen, Ontario, LOB 1H0, in the amount of
$5,100.00 be approved; and
3. That the attached by-law be forwarded to Council for passage; and
4. That the Clerk forward the by-law to the Regional Municipality. of
Durham for processing; and
• 5. That Mr. and Mrs. Hendrik Van Dorp be advised of the status of their
loan application.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
The Van Dorps submitted an application in June 1984, in the amount of
$5,100.00. The final cost totalled $8,449.90 and the net amount of the loan
is (60% of $8,449.90) $5,100.00. The works have been inspected by the Public
Norks Department and an "Inspection and Completion Certificate" approving
the installation has been provided to the Clerk's Department.

A by-law respecting the Tile Drainage Loan to the Van Dorp's is attached
for consideration and it is respectfully recommended that the by-law be
forwarded to Council for passage.
