SUBJECT: REQUEST BY MR. JAN GRAVLEV, 424 SOUDAN AVENUE, TORONTO, FOR
PERMISSION TO OCCUPY A MOBILE HOME DURING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE NEW RESIDENCE, LOCATED ON LOT 1, PLAN tOM-758,
NEWCASTLE VILLAGE (NEWCASTLE SHORELINE PROPERTIES LIMITED)
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration
Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. That Report CD-15-85 be received; and.
2. That the application be approved; and
3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the standard Agreement
permitting the use for a period not exceeding six months; and
I
4. That Mr. Jan Gravlev, 424 Soudan Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M4S 1W9, be
advised of Council's decision.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
By letter dated March 28th 1985, Mr. Jan Gravlev made application for permission
to occupy a mobile home from April 26th 1985 to approximately August 15th
1985, this being the period of construction. The request is occasioned by the
fact that the Gravlev's have a concern with respect to the security of the
site and, to safeguard the materials, wish to move onto the property until
the house is constructed.

The Planning Department has indicated that they have no objection to the
approval of the application, subject, of course, to the consent being
granted fora period not exceeding six months.
The request is reasonable and staff would recommend approval of the
application.
