PUBLIC MEETINGS (a) Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to amend Section 2 entitled "Definitions", within Comprehensive Zoning By-law 84-63, of the former Town of Newcastle by adding a definition for "Agricultural Fairground". In addition, the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment will amend Section 6.1 (b) (viii) of By-law 84-63 by deleting "Public Fairground" as a permitted use and replacing it with "Agricultural Fairground". With the exception of the Mosport Park lands, the proposed new definition will have the effect of prohibiting the holding of a stand alone music festival or concert on all lands zoned Agricultural (A) and Urban Residential Exception (R1-14) where an Agricultural Fairground is listed as a permitted use.
