RECOMhfENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-200-87 be received; and
2. THAT Amendment No. 3 to the Enniskillen Hamlet Development Plan, attached hereto,
be approved.
BACKGOUND & COMMENT:
On May 4, 1987, the General Purpose and Administration Committee resolved (Resolution
#OPA-413-87) be approve in principle, Amendment No. 3 to the Enniskillen hamlet
Development Plan. The purpose of the Amendment is to increase the maximum number of lots
permitted in an area on the northside of Regional Road 3 and west of Old Scugog Road from
"two" to "four". The amendment was to be forwarded to Council after having been
considered by Regional Council.
On June ?_5, 1987, Staff was advised by letter that Regional Council considered Amendment
No. 3 to the Enniskillen Hamlet Plan on June 17, 1987 and had no comments to make.

Accordingly, it is respectfully recommended that Amendment No. 3 to the
* Enniskillen Hamlet Development Plan, attached hereto, be approved.

AMENDMENT N0. 3 TO THE HAMLET DEVELOPMENT PLAN
FOR THE HAMLET OF ENNISKILLEN
PURPOSE' OF AMENDMENT '• ~ ~ ~ ~ • ~ ~~
The purpose of Amendment No. 3 to the Hamlet Development Plan for the Hamlet
of Enniskillen is to increase the maximum number of permitted lots within the
area designated "Rural Residential" in Part Lot 19, Concession 8, former
Township of Darlington from "2" to "4".
BASIS OF AMENDMENT
This amendment to the Hamlet Development. Plan for the Hamlet of Enniskillen
is based upon an application submitted.to the Town of Newcastle to amend the
Plan to permit the development of four (4)-residential lots on the subject
lands.
ACTUAL AMENDMENT ,
1. Schedule "1" to the Hamlet Development Plan for the.Hamlet of
Enniskillen is hereby amended by changing from "2" to "4" the maximum
number of residential lots permitted'in the "Rural Residential" area in
Part of Lot 19, Concession 8, former Township. of Darlington, as shown
on the attached Schedule "X"~ hereto.

IMPLEMENTATION ,
The provisions set forth in the Town of Newcastle Official.Plan regarding the
implementation of-.the Plan shall apply inregard to this Amendment.

interpretation of the Plan .shall apply in regard to this Amendment.
