THIS AGREEMENT made in duplicate this 30th day of November,~1967.
B E T W E E N:
THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY Or OSHAWA,
hereinafter called the "CITY"
OF THE FIRST PART
-and-.
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF DARLINGTON,
hereinafter called the "TOvNSHIP"
OF THE SECOND PART,
WHEREAS by an Agreement dated the 19th day of May, 1960
the Parties hereto made certain arrangements regarding the maintenance
of the Townline. Road which forms the boundary between the City of
Oshawa and the Township of Darlington;
AND WHEREAS the Parties hereto have agreed to amend
the said agreement to permit the City to charge its actual overhead

rate regarding the labour employed in the maintenance-of the said
Townline Road;
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH that the
Parties hereto do covenant and agree as follows: -~
1. That the agreement dated May 19th 1967 between the Parties
hereto is amended by deleting sub-clause a). of Paragraph 5 and
substituting therefor the following:-
a) the actual cost to the City of labour devoted ,
to such work plus the City's actual percentage'
rate of overhead as is charged on labour by the

City to its own road maintenance accounts,
overhead to include employee benefits,
supervision and garage and yard facilities
and staff.
2. This agreement shall take effect from the 1st day of
December, 1967.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Parties hereto have hereunto
affixed their Corporate Seals attested by the hands of their
proper signing officers in that behalf.
