DUPUIS, P.ENG., DIRECTOR HAMPTON,ONTARIO TEL.(416)263-2231 LOB 1J0 987-5039 REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF MAY 21, 1985. REPORT NO. : WD-33-85 SUBJECT: DEDICATION OF ONE FOOT RESERVES PLAN 705, BOWMANVILLE. RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended: 1. That this report be received; and, 2. That one foot reserves across Rosalynne Crescent and Rhonda Boulevard, shown as Block 5 and Block 6 on Plan 705, Bowmanville, be dedicated as public road allowance. REPORT: The attached portion of the Bowmanville map shows the location of the one foot reserves in question. The attached portion of Plan 705, shows the reserves in more detail (Block 5 & Block 6). . . . .2 vi Cb) Page 2 REPORT NO. WD-33-85 Although records are poor, it can be assumed that these reserves were put in place as a control over registration of the plan or plans through the subdivision agreement process. In any event, development of the lands both to the north and south of the south limit of Plan 705 has occurred, streets and services have been constructed, these have been accepted by the municipality and public funds are being spent for their maintenance. There are no outstanding obligations to the Town which preclude dedication of the one foot reserves, therefore, the formality should be pursued. This matter has arisen as a result of an enquiry by a legal firm representing the purchaser of a home in the area. Respectfully submitted, R.G. Dupuis, P. Eng., Director of Public Works.
