i~iLRE<:S the schcol board named in Schedule "A" attached hereto
has applied to tree Council of The Corpor ation of the Township of
Darlington to provide the sum of ;3120000.00 by the issue of Debe~aures
of the Corporation for the public school purposes set out in Schedule "A"
attached hereto and the Corporation has approved of saic application;
AIdD a7[:EP.~1LS for the purposes aforesaid the Council now deems it
expedient to borrow money by the issue and sale to `i'he Ontario Education
Capital Aid Corporation of a Debenture of this Nlunicipalit in the
principal amount of ~p120~000.00 bearing interest at the rate of 64o per
annum payable semi-annually which is the amount of the debt intended to
be created by this B;,r-law.
IdO~~r' TIIEREFOP".E the Council of The Corporation of the Township
of Darlington enacts as follows:
1. THAT for the purposes aforesaid money shall be borrowed on the
credit of The Corporation of the Township of Darlington by the issue of
a Debenture of the Corporation in the principal amount of f$120~000.00
bearing interest at the rate of 6~o per annum payable semi-annually on
the lst day of January and 1st day of July in each year of the currency
of the Debentures upon the principal a:~ount from time to time remaining
Lulpald.
2. TI3~iT the said Debenture shall be dated the lst day of July 1958 and
shall be payable in 20 annual instalments of principal on the 1s~ day of
July in the years 1969 to 1988, inclusive and the respective amounts
of principal and interest payable in respect of suer Debenture in the
years 1969 to 1938, inclusive shall be as set forth in Schedule "B"
attached hereto.
3. TTT<~T the said payments of principal and interest shall be payable
ir. lawfu.l money of Canada by cheques sent through the post to the
registered address of the registered ot~~~er of the "Debenture and such
cheques shall be payable at par in the City of Toronto.
'+. T~IAT the said Debenture shall be sealed frith the Seal of the
Corporatior_ and shall be signed b~T the Head of the Council or by some
other person authorized by ~y-law to sign the sa;ne~ and by the Treasurer.
K. 1,~.~aT all suns recuir®d to pay off the instalments of principal of the
Debenture and to pay interest thereon as set out in the sixth dolumn of
Schedule "B" attached hereto shall be levied and raised in tine years
1969 to 1988y inclusive by a special rate sufficient therefore over and
above all other rates upon all the rateable property assessed to public
school supporters in the mur_icipality at the same time and in the same
manner as other rates.
6. THAI' the said Debenture be sold to The Ontario Education Capital
Aid Corporation.
~. TFIAT the said llebenture shall contain a clause providing for the
re istration thereof pursuant to section 323 of The Tiunicipal Act.

8. T~'.il T application shall be made to the Ontario :Municipal Board for
approval of this By-lava and for the certification of the Debenture to be
issued hereunder pursuant to sections ~s to 60 of Ti~.e Ontario Municipal
Board <,ct.
9. T.-aiT Schedules "?~° and "B" attached hereto are hereby declared to
be and to form part of this By-la.a.
