A BY-LAW TO FURTHER AMEND BY-LAW N0. 2282, AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Darlington did, on October 1, 1964, pass By-law 2282, to
authorize speed limits on certain roads under the jurisdiction
of the Township of Darlington, and did subsequently amend By-law
2282 by By-laws 2372 and 2413, alI of the above By-laws having
been approved by the Minister of Transport for Ontario;
AND WHEREAS it is now deemed expedient to further amend
By-law No. 2282;
THEREFORE, p~irsuant to the authority of the Highway Traffic Act,
R.S.O. 1960, C 172, Section 59, and amendments thereto, the
Municipal Council of the CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
DARLINGTON enactst
1. Schedule "A" to By-law 2282 is further amended by adding thereto
the following:
"A13. The easterly one-half of the allowance for road
between the Township of Darlington and the City of
Oshawa from the North limit of Highway No. 2 to a
point opposite the boundary between the City of Oshawa
and the Township of East Whitby"
and
"A14 The easterly one-half of the road allowance between
the Township of Darlington and the Township of East
Whitby from a point opposite the boundary between the
City of Oshawa and the Township of East Whitby to a
point 4800 feet North of the North limit of Highway No.2:'
2. This By-law shall come into force and take effect from the
day of its approval by the Minister of Transport for Ontario.
