Blue Cirde Inc.
Councillor Schell indicated that he would be disdosing a pecuniary
interest with respect to Report SOLIC-3-00.
Councillor Schell stated a pecuniary interest with respect to Report
SOLlC-3-00 and refrained from discussion and voting on the subject matter.
Councillor Schell indicated that he is employed by Blue Cirde Cement
Canada Inc.

THAT Report SOLIC-3-00 be deferred to the Council Meeting of
June 26, 2000.

Confidential Verbal Resolution #C-342-00
Report from Solicitor
and CAO Moved by Councillor Novak, seconded by Councillor Trim
THAT the meeting be "dosed" in order to receive a confidential verbal
report from the Solicitor regarding a legal matter.

Moved by Councillor Schell, seconded by Councillor Trim
THAT the confidential verbal report from the Solicitor and the Chief
Administrative Officer be received.

Councillor Schell stated a pecuniary interest earlier in the meeting;
vacated his chair and refrained from voting on the confirming by-law.
CONFIRMING BY-LAW
Resolution #C-344-00
Moved by Councillor Young, seconded by Councillor Trim
THAT leave be granted to introduce By-law 2000-95 being a by-law to
confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Municipality of Clarington
at this special meeting held on the 19th day of June 2000, and that the said
by-law be now read a first and second time.
