WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Darlington is desirous of purchasing 10,02 acres of land, being part
of Lot 22, Concession 3, in the said Township, for the purpose of
obtaining gravel located thereon for road. building purposes.
ANll WHEREAS Cecil Mills, the owner of the said lands,
has indicated that he will convey them to the Corporation of the
Township of Darlington for the purchase price set out in the Offer
to Se11 annexed hereto,
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to The Municipal Act R.S.O. 1960,
Chapter 2~+9, Section 333, Sub-section 1, the Council of the
Corporation of the Township of Darlington, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Corporation of the Township of Darlington shall
purchase from Cecil Mills 10.02 acres of land in Lot 22, Concession 3,
in the said Township.
2. The purchase price shall be Twenty-five Thousand Dollars
G$2 5,000.00) payable on or before the 31st of December, 196-.
3. That the Reeve and the Clerk be hereby authorized to
accept the Offer to Sell the said lands at the said price on behalf
of the Council and to execute such further documents, including an
Agreement for Sale, with Cecil Mills and take such Further steps as
may be necessary to complete the purchase upon the above terms.
4, This Bylaw is subject to the approval of the Ontario
Department of Highways.
READ A FIRST, SECOND & THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS
19TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 196-.
