in the performance of tine duties attendant on the office;
THEREFORE, pursuant to tY.e I~lunicipal _1et R.C.O. 1;60, Chap,249,
Sec. x+06, S.S.l,(g), the t:unicipal Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Darlington hereby enacts:
1. By-law No. 2159 is hereby repealed.
2, Annual allowances and allo~~ances for expenses shall be
paid as follows:
To the Reeve --- Annual allowance
Expense Allowance
To the Deputy Reeve-annual allot~rance
Expense allowance
To each Councillor-lnnurl allo~,~.nce
Expense .a.llowance

3, The above alloSrrances shall be paid half-yearly.
4, For each da.y's absence from ordinary tr!eetirgs the aura of
fifteen dollars shall be deducted from the annual
allowance of the nember arho is absent, provided that where
a member is :absent from the Sriunicipality ir.. the performance
of his duties as Councillor, or by reason of his illness,
or a, death in the family; the council by resolution, may
provide, that no deduction in hi_s annual allowance be made
in respect of such s.bserce.
