BY-LAW NO .
A By-law to amend By-law 2111, as amended
by By-laws numbered 2126, 2132, 2136, 2158,
2163, 2196 as amended by By-law 2201 , 22091,
2214, 2216, 2219 and 2220.
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Darlington duly passed zoning By-law 2111 on the fifth day of
February 1959, and subsequently passed an amending By-law to the zoning
By-law on the second day of July 1959 as No. 2126, both of the said
By-laws being approved by an order of the Ontario Municipal Board dated
the seventh day of July 1959;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Darlington deems it advisable to further amend By-law 2111,
as amended;
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to the Planning Act R.S.O. 1960, C 296
Sec. 30, the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Darlington enacts as follows:
1. That Section 4 be amended by Adding thereto subsection (q)
as follows:
It (q) Building Extension
Nothing in this By-law shall prevent an extension
or an addition being made to a single-family
detached dwelling which existed at the time of
passing of this By-law but which has a ground floor
area less than that required by this By-law provided .
such extension or addition is in compliance with all
other requirements of this By-law.0
2. This By-law shall come into effect on the day it is approved
by the Ontario Municipal Board.
THIS BY-LAW READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND FINALLY
PASSED ON THE ,Z DAY OF A.D. 1962.
