WHEREAS the party of the second part is desireous of
maintaining a dog control service within its boundaries
AND ~uIIEREAS the party of the first part has agreed to
provide such service in accordance with the terms and conditions
hereinafter set out.
NOW THEREFORE this agreement cvitnesseth that in consider-
ation of the premises and the terms and conditions hereinafter set
out, the parties for than selves,
HEREBY P~IUTUALLY COVEIQANT ~+IdD AGREE one with the other as
follows:
1. The party of the first part will maintain within its
boundaries the services of a dog control officer and an animal pound
to serve the residents of the municipalities of the Town of Bowmanville
and the Township of Darlington.
2. The dog control officer will enforce for the Township
of Darlington the provisions of Township of Darlington, By-Law #2112
Amended by 2153 and 2205.
3, The party of the second part will pay to the party
of the first part the sure of $3500.00 per year payable r~1750.00 on the
1st day of June and yp1750.00 on the 31st day of December, during the
term of this agreement.
4. The term of the Agreement shall commence on the 1st
day of January 1962, and continue until terminated by either party
on 30 days written notice.
