BY-LAW N0. 2245
A By-law to amend By-law 2111, as amended
by By-laws numbered 21.26, 2132, 2136, 215$,
2163, 2216 a22 9,n2220,~22231and22~25.2209,
2214, ,
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Darlington duly passed zoning By-law 2111 on the fifth day
of February 1959, and subsequently passed an amended By-law to the
zoning By-law on the second day of July 1959 as No. 2126, both of the
said By-laws being approved by an order of the Ontario Municipal Board
dated the seventeenth day of July 1959;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Darlington deems it advisable to further amend By-law 2111,
as amended;
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to the Planning Act R.S.O. 1960, C
296 Sec. 30, the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Darlington enacts as follows:
1, That Section 13 of By-law 2111, as amended be further amended
by adding thereto the following.
(b) Part Lot 16. Concession
(i) Notwithstanding any provision of this By-law to
the contrary, that part of Lot 16, Concession 4,
described in paragraph (ii), below, may be used for
the purpose of a retail produce sales outlet, provided
that such use shall comply with the provisions of this
By-law for a Local Commercial (C1) Zone.
(ii) The lands referred to in paragraph (i) are
described as follows: Commencing at the north-west angle
of said Lot 16;
THENCE southerly along the westerly limit of said Lot 16
a distance of 18.56 feet to a point which may be known
as the Place of Beginning;
THENCE continuing southerly along the westerly limit of
said Lot lb a distance of 624.94 feet to a point;
THENCE easterly parallel with the northerly limit of said
Lot 16 a distance of 491.7 feet to the westerly limit of
Scugog Road;
THENCE northerly in a straight line along the westerly
limit of the Scugog Road to a point distant 19.28 feet
southerly from the intersection of the northerly limit of
said Lot 16 and the westerly Limit of the Scu gog Road;
THENCE south 71 degrees 55 minutes west a distance of 347.43
feet to the place of beginning.
The said lands being or intended to be all of the lands
described in registered instrument 5615 excepting thereout
that part of the said lands expropriated for highway
widening by the Corporation of the United Counties of
Northumberland and Durham.
2, This By-law shall come-iT1~a.=effect on the day it is approved by
the Ontario Municipal Board. ,
