A By-Iaw for the appointment of sheep valuators for the Township of Darlington for the
year 1944.
Passed January 10th, 1944..
The Muni"~ceipal Council of the Township of Darlington hereby enacts that /~~~

of the Township of Darlington, be, and they are hereby appoin ed sheep valuators" for
the Township of Darlington for the year 19144; the said ~' r, .,~~[~~
for that portion west of the Scugog Road, and the said ~jyyXa...~ UIIG
for that portion east of the Scugog Road, and they shall, within forty eight_hours /
after notice of the killing or injuring of a sheep, or sheep, or cattle, by a dog, or
dogs, make the inspection of the said killed or injured sheep or cattle beast, and
report in writing to the Council Board of such killing, or inj~zring, and give also to
the owner of the beast said to be killed or injured, a copy of the report and the
amount of the damage, if ax~p, and for their services shall be paid at the rate of
20 cents per mile, one way travelled, and $R.00
