SCHEDULE "A°
This is agreement referred to in by-law passed by the Corporation
of the Township of Darlington varying the agreement dated 7th
dad of October, 1931, between the Corporation of the Township
of Darlington and Ben E. Tate, now held by Ontario Shore Gas
Company, Limited, and varying an agreement dated the 5th day of
July, 19l}.7 between the Corporation of the Township of Darlington
and Ontario Shore Gas Company, Limited. „ ~...

day of April, A.D., 1950.

of the SECOND PART,
WHEREAS the Company is the holder of the
rights granted to one Ben E. Tate, by an agreement dated the
7th day of October, 1931;
AND WHEREAS it is provided under Section
Eight (8} oP the said Agreement, as varied by an Agreement
dated the Pifth day of July, 19)}7 between the Township and the
Company, that:
^The Grantee covenants and agrees with the Township
that the rates or charges for gas to be supplied
to the Township and its inhabitants shall not ea-
eeed the following;
Service charge 1}0¢ net per month
Consumpt ion Charge 22~ per l00 cu. ft.
per month for the first
200 ft, thereafter
X1.80 per 1000 cu. Ft.
per month
Minimum Gross charge 65¢~ per month
Discount if paid withinl0¢ per 1000 cu. ft.
10 days from date of of consumption charge.
PROVIDED THAT: bill
(a) When the consumption shall equal 250,000

not exceed 1.50 per 1000 cu. ft. per month, with
discount of 10~ per 1000 cubic feet of consumption
charge on accounts paid within 10 days from date
of bill.
(b) When the consumption shall equal 3,000,000
eu. ft. per day, said consumption charge shall not
exceed X1.05 per 1000 cu. ft. per month, with dia-
count of 10~ per 1000 cubic feet of consumption of
charge on accounts paid within-10 days from date
of bill."
ANB WHEREAS the Company has requested that
the said privision b® further altered and the Township has
assented thereto.
NOYP THEREFORE TFIIS INDENTURE WITNESSTH
that the said clause eight of the said .agreement dated the

7th day of October, 1931,/shall take ®ffect and apply.
"Provided, howeveP, the rates ~t ont in
Paragraph (1}) of the agreement bearing date the ~{th day of
duly, 19L{.7,,being the rates hereinbefore referred to, shall be
subject to an increase in proportion to the B.T.U.. rating
oP the gas hereafter sold and distributed as compared to gas
having a standard rating of )1.50 B.T.U. per cubic foot. For
greajrer certainty it is specifically agreed that there shall be
ao increase in the maximum s ervice charge and that the amount of
discount shall be adjusted in proportion to the B.T.U. value of the
gas hereafter sold and distributed as compared to gas having
e standard rating of ~50 B.T.U. per cubic foot, it being intended
by the parties hereto that the maximum rates to b® charged to
consumers for gas if computed on the basis oP B.T.U.TS supplied
shall not be increased above the rates provided for in the said
agreement dated the 5th day of duly, 1947."
AND IT IS FURTHER AGREED that the said Agree-
ment dated the 7th day of October 1931, sa varied by the Agree-
ment dated the 5th day of duly, 191}7, save and except as hereby
expressly varied be and the same is hereby confirmed.
