RECOMMENDATIONS:
Tt is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-2-87 be received; and
2. THAT the application submitted by Mrs. E. Jost 'to amend the Tyrone Hamlet Plan to
change a 4.124 hectare parcel of land located in Part Lot 9, Concession 6, fo rn~er
Township of Darlington from a maximum of six (6) units to a maximum of eleven (11)
units on private services be received and referred to Staff for processing and a
subsequent report and public meeting.
BACKGROUND:
On October 15, 1986, the Planning Department received an application submitted by Mr. E.
Jost to amend the Tyrone Hamlet Plan. The parcel of land is 4.124 Niectares (10.2 acre)
located in Part Lot 9, Concession 6, former Township of Darlington (see attached map).
The purpose of the amendment would be to permit the site to be developed for eleven (11)
single detached dwellings. The current designation permits six (6) units. This is being
processed in conjunction with a subdivision application (18T-86062).

The application has been circulated to various agencies for comment and
* attached is a copy of the circulation letter and key plan for Council's
information.
It is recommended that the application be received for information and
referred back to Staff for a subsequent report. At such time as the necessary
circulation has been completed, Staff shall schedule this application for a
public meeting of the General Purpose and Administration Committee pursuant to
the requirements of the Planning Act.
