(a) Proposed Amendment to the Official Plan of the
Town of Newcastle to change the existing "Special
Purpose Commercial" designation to a "Local Central
Area" designation permitting a maximum of 3160 m2 for
office, retail and personal service use. The subject
lands are located in Part Lot 28, Concession 2, former
Township of Darlington, more specifically described
as a 1.24 hectare site at the south east corner of
Courtice Road and Highway #2.
