3. PUBLIC MEETINGS
(a) Proposed Official Plan Amendment and Proposed Zoning
By-law Amendment. The Official Plan Amendment proposes
to amend the Durham Region Official Plan to permit the
establishment of an Aggregate Resources Extraction Area
on a 82.7 hectare parcel of land located in Part Lots 29,
30 and 31, Concession 10, former Township of Clarke.
Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to change the zone
category from "Agricultural (A)" to "Extractive
Industrial (M3)" to permit an aggregate extraction
operation and to "Extractive Industrial Exception
(M3-3)" to retain a residential use on a 2.3 hectare
parcel of land on a termporary basis.

category of lands within Part Lot 9, Concession 3 and
Part Lot 9, Concession 4 in the former Township of
Clarke from Agricultural Exception (A-1) to Rural
Cluster (RC) to recognize and expand the cluster known
historically as Crooked Creek.
