The Official Plan Amendment proposes to amend the Durham Region Official Plan to permit the establishment of an Aggregate Resources Extraction Area on a 82.7 hectare parcel of land located in Part Lots 29, 30 and 31, Concession 10, former Township of Clarke. Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to change the zone category from "Agricultural (A)" to "Extractive Industrial (M3)" to permit an aggregate extraction operation and to "Extractive Industrial Exception (M3-3)" to retain a residential use on a 2.3 hectare parcel of land on a termporary basis.
